The design is ok enough. The main problems are two fold. One, the seat and back are poorly machined, so you'll be able to get enough screws in to connect them, but only after a lot of frustration and effort, and even then you'll only be using about 2/3rds of the total which leads to the second problem. The chairs not very durable. I got about six months of regular usage out of it before the plastic at the connection between the back and the seat split causing the back to begin to slowly separate from the seat.Other than that it's comfortable enough when it's not broken, and the height adjust works. But you're definitely gonna regret not springing for something with better craftsmanship when it begins to fall apart on you.So far so good, this chair is what I expected: great mesh back chair at an offordable cost. I've only had mine for about a day but I can see myself using this chair for hours on end.The chair does come with instructions, little confusing at first but when looked at carefully they make sense. All the screws use a one size hex key, this is included in the package. I do suggest using a power drill, if you have the proper bits of the job. This will make the job go a lot faster.Attaching the back to the seat is pretty frustrating, best way to go about this is to thread the screws by hand then use the hex tool. other then that no complaints yet.I have always had an "executive-looking" chair in my office. The plush ones with the high back, etc. I was a little reluctant to get this because of the way it looked; I was sure wrong. This chair is incredibly comfortable. I have serious back issues and this chair is great. It provides great support for my back and I can sit in it for hours comfortably. The price is great, too. It is a better chair than ones I have paid twice as much for. And, of course, Amazon delivered it when they said they would, and the chair is exactly as advertised.Sorry to hear Amazon is opening a facility here in Florida so I will now have to pay state tax; but, Amazon is still the best.I bought this chair for my apartment. Being a college student I spend way to much time in front of my computer and in this chair. From day one the seat has be hard an unyielding. This has been tolerable and actually probably a plus because it forces me to get off my fat ass every now and then. My real issue is that the back of the chair has snapped off where it meets the seat. The plastic just sheered off. I've had this chair for a touch over 6 months and i was really hoping to have more than a stool but that's what I'm stuck with now. This chair is really comfortable and fits at my desk quite well. The only thing that is not great about this chair is the arms. The arms feel kind of cheap and aren't very comfortable or adjustable. For the price I am very happy with my purchase. Two of the holes on the bottom where the seat back is screwed in are about 1/16" off, which made this a real pain in the butt trying to assemble. I had to use brute force to pry the plastic back pieces apart, which wasn't easy. What should have taken 3 minutes to attach the seat back took almost 30. Where does Q&A come into play here? The arms are dinky and they sit low (non-adjustable). The left arm broke clean off when I leaned left to adjust myself on the chair. I weigh 195 pounds, so it's not like I'm huge.I kept the chair, and tried to make it work anyway, but it's not comfortable, and the missing arm really bothers me. I went to return it, and the return expiration was up. I should have returned it when the arm broke (a week after I started using it).I'd be happy to return the chair, and try another, if that was an option.Nice looking and quite comfortable with the right amount of springiness to the backrest. Seat material seems decent quality and the stitching is even. Since the armrests bolt on they are optional-good for me since I find they get in my way. Had a bit of a struggle getting the holes lined up to attach the back, but other than that this chair is easy to put together. Components came well-covered to give protection during shipping.
