I am mostly happy with this chair. It is comfortable and I have to fight the cat for a seat, but the aesthetic quality doesn't seem that great. The plastic silver pieces I find very cheap looking. I was primarily looking for a comfortable office chair with some seat cushion, and it serves its purposes. I can sit in it for hours with no issues. It leaves some room and has back support. The adjustable height works well also. Setup was fairly straight forward. I am a medium sized woman and assembled it myself. I would recommend keeping all nails to the side and back pieces loose until all pieces are attached. It's sturdy and has more padding than most "gaming" chairs. I like the high back, which comes up to the middle of the back of my head if I lean back. (I'm 5"10) I love it more than any other chair I've had for my home office, but I took a star off because there's a small tear underneath the seat. It doesn't bother me and it hasn't gotten worse in the months I've had the chair, so I can say it's a safe purchase. So far so good. Was able to put it together very fast. They base and arms are not metal. They are a composite, plastic-like material. They are covered in a metallic coating - which is basically paint. Somewhat disturbing as the listing falsely states the base is metal, and seller answered a question with a lie that the arms are metal. So be aware.I needed a chair that I could use at a desk in my living room. This chair is comfortable and fits in good with my living room decor- doesn't just look like a clunky desk chair. I bought the light color to match but didn't know if I would like it, but I love the color and the softness of the material. I did manage to put it together myself (I was too excited to use to wait for help). Did have some difficulty putting the arms on by myself but overall I put it together in about an hour. Can sit in it for hours at a time.LikesGood chair for the price, great lumbar support, easy assembly, sturdy, comfortable arm rest.DislikesFew wrinkles in the seat cushion may come out with use.Sitting in upright position chair is slightly leaning forward which I may modify with longer screws and a few washers. All in all good purchase love the cream color tired of the normal black look.Comfortable, material seems durable. Was a little surprised the center shaft isn't physically mounted to the seat portion, falls off if I pick the chair up off the floor. The armrests are a little bit wobbly (made of plastic) so I try to be gentle with them, but so far it's lasted 3 months with no issues. This is a great chair! Comfortable, sturdy, and great looking. I use it 8-11 hours a day. I'm 5'4", and the chair fits great, because the height is adjustable. Just getting over a broken foot, and it supports my back and leg well. Off white color looks clean and design is sleek. One thing about the assembly -- attaching the arms to the seat was a bumpy process, because the whole and screw weren't lined up properly, so allow a little extra time to get it right. Love the chair so much, that I didn't take away a star. The chair I received was packaged so poorly it's covered in scratches and tears, for almost $150 you'd expect a nice chair, but no, this is just awful. I received the chair with almost every component already scratched and missing it's poorly applied metallic coating, and the left arm rest has a huge tear in it. I've attached photos of how this "new" product arrived. The chair was a little difficult to put together, the way the arm rests hold the rest of the chair together is a poor design and isn't very easy to line everything up with the rest of the chair and given tools. The castors aren't very good and aren't very mobile don't expect to roll very easily. The chair itself is semi-comfortable, but for the price, you'd be better off getting one of the AmazonBasics chairs for cheaper.
