I saw a lot of reviews talking about missing/damaged parts, hard to read instructions, and how it takes 2 people to assemble… I put this together by myself in under 2 hours. 30 minutes of that was because my ditzy self put 14 in the back instead of 13 & I had to take the whole top piece off… but anyway, let’s say an hour & a half. There is one piece you can see there that’s a little off, but not a deal breaker. Instructions are pictures which are WAY better than words for assembling furniture and nothing was damaged or missing. I’m a full time working mom of 3 teenagers, I’m average to small size & I do not work out. It maybe takes an inkling of upper body strength for a moment, but the only thing a second person could have helped with was picking up the Allen key every time I dropped it.. lol. Overall, I love it. I’m super excited to set it up for my home office now! I’ll update if the sturdiness, etc. goes to crap. No update means I’m still lovin’ it! (and no, there were no incentives for writing this review - just wanted people to not look deep into the silly bad reviews).Love the desk, it looks exactly like the pictures and came a lot quicker than original estimates (originally said it was coming mid-September, but it arrived Aug 27). Desk is sturdy, clean, and the instructions weren’t hard to follow. Everything came together in about an hour and was easy enough for me to do alone. The only issue is that two parts of the desk were loose. In the picture is one of the parts that go in the feet of the desk so it doesn’t scrape the floor, which was loose and fell out right out of the box. The other part wasn’t as easily photographed, where one of the screw anchors that anchors the wooden desk top to the frame was loose, so the entire screw is loose. Neither compromises the sturdiness of the desk for me, and I was excited for the arrival of a much needed desk that I decided to forgo returning it because of those two pieces, but it’s just something to be aware of. Love the desk though, it serves its purpose well.i love how big this is and how easy it was to put together (unlike ikea?). i wish it was a little bit heavier because i’ll hit my knee or leg on it (i wish it was a little bit taller too) and the whole thing shakes and stuff falls off the shelves. it’s easy to clean and big enough for all my stuff. i definitely recommend!!I haven’t gotten a new desk in about 8 years, all the others I’ve owned have been hand me downs or from thrift stores, so this was a really big buy for me and I LOVE IT! It was easy to assemble and it’s a great size. Definitely worth the price!! :)I love the look of this desk and there are many different options for assembly in terms of how you want it to look. It took like 3-4hrs to set up to be honest but this thing is AWESOMEThe desk was supper easy to install I did It all by my self in 2hrs. Probs could have finished with in an hr but the instructions were a lil confusing u just gotta pay close attention and u’ll be fine.Very easy to assemble, perfect size and color. Nice!I thoroughly enjoyed that this desk could be set up in an L shape in any direction, and even has instructions for making it just an extra long desk. Assembly is relatively easy, but I definitely advise that you read the instructions through several times and make VERY sure you've got the right pieces in order! It can be a little easy to mix up pieces and put things on backwards by accident, especially if you're not used to assembling furniture. The manual instruction booklet is still very coherent, clear and easy to follow with very clear illustrations that will show you what to do, and is very handy in backtracking and finding out where you messed up. The only thing lacking on the desk is any form of cable management and extra storage, but given the price point of the desk I was not expecting either of those specifically - just keep it in mind when you're assembling and choosing a spot for your desk! My desk is near a book shelf and that more than compensates for storage. Also mind that this desk is LARGE - which may be exactly what you want, but regard the space you're working with in your apartment or home when placing it!This is a sturdy and good quality desk for the cost. Our desk came without assembly instructions and a part, the company was quick and eager to help! The instructions are a bit unclear on the direction some parts should face, but nothing that was difficult to change around.
