I was unsure if a mesh seat would be comfortable but it is. The recline is a little tight but this seat is so much better and more comfortable than my last office chair. I had back surgery a couple of years ago and needed a special pillow to sit on in my old chair but don't need it in this chair. I can sit in this chair for long periods without any problems. Well worth the price considering how ridiculously over-priced other chairs sell for. I definitely recommend this chair.
