The time finally came to replace my old computer chair, which was a mid-back Boss with fabric cushions wood arms & casters. I have a wood-themed computer area and wanted another chair with a similar look. Although this Boss is leather and full back instead of mid, it is still a great replacement. Very comfortable and the oak trim is a near perfect match to my Z-Line Aura computer desk. The only issue is one of the screws on the bottom of the cushion was screwed in so ridiculously tight from the factory that I stripped it trying to get it out, so I was only able to install the pneumatic piece with 3 out of the 4 screws. This makes the seat lean to one side when you lean back. I didn't feel like going through a length RMA process so I'm going to live with it. At least it's still structurally sound and comfortable.Chair arrived in the timeframe stated when ordered. However, the box looked like it had been dropped and broken open. It was all taped up. Upon opening the box, one of the wheels was broken in to about 5 pieces. Also, the wood on one of the arms was cracked. We contacted Boss and sent them pictures of the damage. They sent replacement parts and we had them in about a week. The new parts were installed and the chair goes extremely well with our black and cherry desk. The chair worked wonderful for the first year of owning it.It is somewhat comfortable, i have sat in more comfortable chairs for the price.I purchased this chair because the bottom frame was actually made of metal. Other chairs I have bought in the same price range had a plastic frame and the legs would break on them after a year or two. After a while the leather material started to crack and peel. And the air lift on the chair does not work anymore, when i Sit in it i slowly go to the ground.I'm debating on whether to replace the lift or spend a little more money on a good chair. After going to several stores in my town to look for a nicer office chair, I was seen this on Amazon. The assembly was rather easy, and the components are all high quality. I'm also a large guy (6'4", 225 lbs) and this still fits just fine. The faux leather will likely become a problem down the road, but should be fine for at least 5 years.A very good looking & inexpensive desk chair which has a "too hard" seat. I am over 250 lbs and have LIVED in this chair for years. We bought it for its looks and low price - planing to replace it when we found something better, and are still looking.Meh. The chair is ok but doesn't recline enough when you lean back and it has a strange odor. I'm going to donate it to Goodwill. The oak wood is beautiful, and was very well protected in shipping. The chair assembles nicely, and is quite comfortable. This is a perfect companion to my Oak Desk,This chair really makes you feel like an executive! Extremely comfortable, easy assembly, and great quality materials. I'm very impressed with the price and delivery time.
