This desk is great. I've been using it for a few months now and I have no complaints. The coating on the top is scratch resistant and easy to keep clean. Most desks get scratched up and look terrible pretty quickly.My only complaint is that in the instructions it says to put the metal "U" shaped piece on before putting the top on. I would put the metal piece on the top and then the whole top on at once. The reason is that the screws to secure the top to the rest are a little bit too short and thin. If you put any sort of pressure on it while trying to put the screw through from underneath, it will rip right out. I was lucky and I keep random bolts and screws in a jar so I was able to put that back in it's place. (A little thicker and a little bit longer) It's very sturdy now. For the price, I don't see anything that comes close to this desk. It's great.Fit perfectly in his room. Only drawback was one step in assembly towards end. Assembly was super easy until we got to were you attach top table to bottom table that folds out. Apparently holes were misaligned, but after playing with we realized moving connector over and using only two of four holes aligned piece up perfectly. No problems after that. He loves it.This is a very cute and sturdy desk. I wish the whole thing was on wheels. The one side is easy to swing in and out, but it is a large desk.First, this desk is simple to assemble and not hard for a single person. The quality of the desktop and swing out section are excellent. The swing out section is easy to move and stable when in place. The sliding keyboard drawer is solid and has a comfort bevel on the front edge. The “footrest” is solid and holds my modem and several reference books, while having room for my feet. Overall great desk with plenty of room for a 27” iMac, lamp, keyboard, mouse pad, and room to spare for comfort. And that is just the main desktop. The swing out has a 24”TV, DVD player, room for remotes, an iPad pro, and plenty of space left over. Can be folded up to make more space in my room, L-shape for corner space, or opened all the way as a straight line against the wall. Will likely get another for my wife’s workspace as well!Perfect for small spaces.Versatile.Easy install, especially for first time assemblersIt’s bigger than I expected… really looks modern worth the price… I love itGreat desk!!I have two laptops (business/personal) I use alternately during a day and another laptop and desktop that I use for specific projects. This desk worked out great with the exception of 1) it arrived with one panel damaged ... there was no visible damage to the box so it has to be faulty packaging 2) it's pretty easy for one 75 year old limited agility person to assemble with the exception of the last two steps which were difficult since I can't get under anything and still get back up - took way too much time but I got creative and finished it without going under the desk 3) I ordered it to use as an L-shaped desk but due to the pull-out on the keyboard drawer, you cannot get a functional L-shape desk ... I just have a slightly bent shaped desk as it is set up now 4) I had to add a keyboard height table that fits under the section that swings out in order to accommodate the need for two active laptops since the swing out surface is too high for me to comfortably type 5) I like the height of the work surfaces ... one is lower than the other which seems to work for me 6) if ordering for small spaces, plan on enough room to swing out the extension (it's on a roller) while you work, then you can tuck it back under the stationary section when you are finished 7) be sure to be careful with the hardware because there is zero surplus 8) it's nice they included the tools you'd need to assemble. Even though I've only used it a short time, I'd recommend it as a good work station.
