The backrest pushes the user so far forward that you have to sit on the front edge of the seat causing the stool to push backwards. This balancing act makes the stool uncomfortable and unusable. I tried many times to re-install and reposition the seat and back rest but nothing fixed the problem. I hate it. I threw away the backrest. The wheels are toll small and roll awkwardly. I will take them off and throw them in the trash as well. The only reason I am keeping it at all is that I like the height adjustment and the seat cushion is fairly comfortable. I do NOT recommend this product.Not very comfortable but very easy to assemble. Not overly confident in its support of a 200 pound man but it's not bad.I love my drafting stool. I have not yet done any drawing while sitting on it, but I have been sewing. I do many artsy/crafty projects, as well as design and drafting, so a comfortable, easy to roll, and easy to adjust is a wonderful asset.All around good chair!I love it - sit on it 8 to 14 hours Monday through Saturday. It is so much better than my last chair.Perfect! However the overall material is of poor quality. The back rest to the chair bent and deformed the first time the chair was used. Do not expect to enjoy any support for the lower back from this product.
