I like the look and finish on it. My only complaint is quality control. One of the shelves holes where drilled too large for the screws provided. Not a big deal as I just ran down to the hardware store and grabbed a couple screws. Also would be nice to not have screws with different heads. Smaller screws are Phillips while the larger screws are hex. Maybe the manufacturer could pick a type and stick with it.Just needed something quick and low priced. It’s okay. But it does the jobIt claims to be all bamboo, but I have my doubts. Both came dinged in a few places but thankfully it was all mostly in places hidden. One went together much better than the other. Assembly is very easy. The brown has a weird metallic sheen to it. They are darker than I really wanted. Smaller than I planned overall.They are ok, but don't plan on putting much on them. I don't think they'll hold. They're not an awful buy, but they aren't great either. I wish I'd seen the amazon basics ones first. I'd rather have had those. I don't feel like dealing with shipping these back. Oh well.This shelf unit was just what I needed for the space I needed to fill in my living room. Decorative and great for small knick knacks. I wouldn't load out up with heavy books. There were a couple of spots that aren't perfect but they are in the back so really not a problem. We followed the directions for easy assembly for two people.This is an attractive and stylish bookcase. I wanted something different than the tired looking, old-fashioned bookcases of my past. It showcases my books and looks great. I have since ordered a second one.I am someone who does not like putting things together but this bookcase was easy to assemble.The product is sturdy but not to heavy. I am a single woman and put this together by myself in one hour. My only dissatisfaction was that one screw wouldn't go all the way in. Its in the back so no big deal. Good price/valueI was really impressed by the quality of the materials, the clear and simple instructions for assembly, as well as how efficiently it was packed; just two small pieces of styrofoam and a little foam wrapper -- and everything showed up in pristine condition, minus all the waste you usually get inside of a box this big. It was actually fun to assemble. I loaded the shelves up with about 100lbs worth of books, plus a few knick-knacks. Not sure if it's designed to hold *this* much weight, but it seems to be holding up just fine. I would be hesitant to put much more weight than that on it, though just because of its small size. Would highly recommend! Super-cute.the package was missing the L key, so unless i gad my own tool box i wouldnt have even been able to assemble it. then it was still missing the anti skid stickers to balance the shelf. now it’s wobbly so i can’t even put anything on it. very disappointed that so much was missing from this set
