I shopped around for a "Heavy Duty" office chair, as I am used to lab stools but wanted something more stable - and more comfortable for my 250 pound body. After seeing the $300 version of this chair elsewhere, I was pleased to see it on Amazon and rebranded as all things are for much less money. I even sprung for upgraded "aftermarket" bearing wheels at the same time. The upside is that the chair is attractive, with the dual arms and back that are very supportive (and don't squeak like so many of the traditionally designed office chairs and lab stools)! The overall design is functional, and feels durable enough for a guy that has a habit of accidentally destroying anything made by Ikea. I'm bigger than the average Swede, apparently. Using the upgraded wheels makes the chair better over cheap office carpet and it's wider than average seat is probably helpful for the typical Pear-shaped office worker - but it actually is too large for me (6'2", 240+ and 38" waist) by a decent margin. The vertical piston also has a surprisingly short length of travel - in my use it will only adjust about 4" max from bottom to max height, making it almost useless. So to review so far: the chair is made for fat people with a larger than average seat size, is of average quality (plastic molded legs like everything else, barely functional piston height for the chair, typical Chinesium plastics and construction, with low end fabric that is "good enough"), but has a sturdy back support design and pleasing fabric colors that would have earned a much higher rating, if not for...literally the worst seat cushion I have ever sat on. The makers of this chair clearly decided that a 2" later of lightweight open-cell foam was the best choice for a "Heavy Duty" office chair designed for 200+ lb Americans to sit on for 8 hours straight? It's so thin, I can literally feel the bolt/screw indentations of the plastic seat base underneath. Sitting on a few layers of cardboard would be a market improvement! There is zero chance this chair is as comfortable as any other random offering, unless you simply don't know any better or are a shill for the company. I suppose that *IF* this is a knock-off brand like everything else made in China, other brands may use a higher quality foam, but I wouldn't be willing to bet $300 on it.I am likely going to remove the staples, pull the fabric and put some high density closed-cell foam in there as a replacement, because the chair is so utterly disappointing in being comfortable to sit on, there is no way to make it worse! Thus, I have nothing to lose. Due to the way the chair is constructed with the cheapest foam padding I have ever witnessed in a piece of furniture, I 'd rather sit on a wooden chair for improved comfort.... It's that bad.So I give it 2 stars because the back support is comfortable (and doesn't squeak!), it is aesthetically pleasing to look at, and I expect it to not break anytime soon - but the seat is just embarrassingly uncomfortable, too large for even a heavy-set career Office Lurchin, and the vertical adjustment height is not useful. Again, there is NO way that anyone with even the most minimal of expectations would find this chair comfortable.Bought hoping to get a slightly larger chair than the one I had based on its dimensions. Turns out it was actually smaller. The seat on this thing is only about 17" x 19" so if you're hoping for something with a little more room this ain't the chair for you. Aside from that it seem decently well made, and it is comfortable for short periods of time.I needed a new chair for my computer station here at home. I really don't like this chair because it is way too firm. It's like sitting on a concrete block. It really does not have any usable armrest at all. If this were in an office for a employee I would get rid of it immediately. If it wasn't for the fact that it would be way hard to take apart, pack up & ship back I would send it back but the way it is I figure I just lost about $75. Teaches me a good lesson, to never buy a home computer chair without trying it out before I buy it....Really looks good but that's it.Well made and very comfy. Easy to assemble.love this chair, so comfortable with the lumbar back and a great priceI really find this chair uncomfortable. Chairs are so personal so maybe it will work for someone else. It looks fine and it is a great price, but I'm wishing I would have purchased from a vendor that would have had an inperson return. I have no idea how to dismantle and return this chair. It was easy and quick to assemble. The color is so vibrant in person.Doesn’t creek or make screeching noises when I’m use.Rolls with ease.I’ve gotten so many compliments and it matches my new orange iMac
