I have plantar fasciitis, and have a really difficult time finding boots that are comfortable. I live in a rural area, and would have to drive over an hour to find a store that had boots to try on, so I'm grateful for Amazon. I bought the black suede ankle boot, and they're gorgeous. I was surprised that they fit. I'm an 11M, slightly on the wider side, and these were comfortable, but with not much room to spare. A lot of the other brands I've tried run long and narrower than these. I can remove the insoles and use either my orthotic inserts or full length orthotic insoles. The insoles that came with the boots were even pretty comfortable. I do agree that the heel is on the narrow side and makes your foot a little unstable, but I adapted pretty quickly. If you have thick or heavy ankles, this is not the boot for you. My ankles are not thin, but not heavy, and there was no room to spare. These would be too tight if I would try to wear a heavy sock. These definitely are dressy if you want, but are cute with leggings or jeggings, although, unless your ankles are thin, you wouldn't be able to tuck in jeans. In my first picture you can see my own insoles on the left that fit in the boots, and in the other picture I placed the Comfy Moda insoles over the top of my own red insoles that are a size 11W. They are about the same size.
